By harnessing the power of their communities and employees, BCRF’s corporate partners fuel nearly half of our overall investment in lifesaving research. This October and all year round, we celebrate the more than 140 brands that proudly fund BCRF research.
This year, we recognize the following eight dedicated partners who have been with BCRF for five, 10, and 15 years. Their sustained support has helped BCRF support the world’s most promising research that improves outcomes and saves lives.
Carpet One BCRF has been proud to partner with Carpet One since 2006. Each October, Carpet One launches a new Welcome a Cure collection, featuring indoor/outdoor welcome mats designed for every style and season. For every welcome mat sold, Carpet One donates 25 percent of the purchase prices to BCRF. Carpet One has raised nearly $485,000 for breast cancer research.
Mark Roberts Since 2006, Mark Roberts has donated $2-7.50 from the sale of each Spirit of Hope Fairy collectible figurine. Through its partnership with BCRF, Mark Roberts has funded 3,600 hours of lifesaving research.
Radar Tires (Omni United) For the past decade, Radar Tires and Omni United have supported BCRF through their Pink Ribbon Tire Program. This year, Radar has committed a minimum donation of $50,000 to fund 1,000 hours of lifesaving breast cancer research, and to date, they have donated more than $1.3 million to BCRF.
Tanger Outlets Since 2011, Tanger Outlets has donated nearly $4 million to BCRF through its Tanger Pink program, through which Tanger shoppers can buy a Tanger Pink Card that benefits BCRF (the full $10 purchase price is donated) and gives shoppers 25 percent off at participating stores in October. This year, Tanger Outlets has committed $250,000 to underwrite The Tanger Factory Outlets Award benefitting Dr. Shelley Hwang of Duke University.
Alex Woo Alex Woo, Inc. has been a valued partner since 2016. Following her mother’s death from breast cancer, Woo, who tragically passed away this year, designed the Activist PINK Pendant to support research. Her namesake brand continues to support BCRF through their PINK shop during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Kendra Scott Inspired by the loss of her dear friend Holly Rothell Kitchen to metastatic breast cancer in January 2016, Kendra Scott partnered with BCRF to develop a collection of products that have funded more than $1 million of research to date. Now in its fifth year of partnership with BCRF, the brand has committed a gift of $250,000 to underwrite The Kendra Scott Award in Honor of Holley Rothell Kitchen this year. Kendra Scott herself also serves on BCRF’s Board of Directors.
Lokai Lokai has been a partner of BCRF since 2016. Since launching this partnership, Lokai has created four Breast Cancer Lokai bracelets in support of BCRF that have raised more than $500,000.
Sabika Each October since 2016, Sabika Jewelry has created a limited-edition collection of pink jewelry that has raised more than $500,000 for BCRF’s research. In addition to donating a portion of each Pink Power piece sold, the brand donates $50 for every BCRF Pink Party a Sabika Consultant hosts.
