October serves as a reminder of hope; hope for better treatments, sufficient funding of critical research, and ultimately, a cure. This month, BCRF corporate partner Lands’ End has supported the hope of their customers by launching the Pink Thread Project.
Through Oct. 31, Land’s End joins forces with BCRF by donating 75% of each pink thread monogram and embroidery directly to the Foundation’s mission. For every $6 monogram and embroidery application fee, $4.50 will go directly to BCRF.
“As a mother, if there is one thing I wish to give our children more of than anything else, it is hope. Hope is the greatest motivator; it gives us faith that we can change the world for the better,” said CEO Federica Marchionni, in the company’s announcement.
Customers can choose to support breast cancer research by adding any monogram or embroidered icon using pink thread to any of Lands’ End apparel, accessories or home goods.
“Sadly, most of us have been affected by breast cancer and have witnessed the damage it can do. But there is hope.”
