The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) celebrated women and their contributions to the thoroughbred industry while raising funds to support BCRF during Fabulous Fillies Day on Thursday, August 11 at Saratoga Race Course in Saratoga Springs, NY.
The day of celebrations culminated with the Annual Sizzling Hot Pink Saratoga Hat Luncheon presented by ESCADA, raising more than $155,000 for the Foundation. The luncheon was emceed by journalist and breast cancer survivor Mary Morin Carlin.The program featured guest speaker BCRF Scientific Director Dr. Larry Norton, leading the discussion “Breast Cancer: How We Are Winning the Race” for 250 guests.
The event welcomed guests to support BCRF is many exciting ways. Guests were treated to an ESCADA pop-up shop, donating 20% of the proceeds of the the sale to the Foundation.
