Each October, BCRF investigators are honored at the annual Symposium & Awards Luncheon in New York City. The event announces the Foundation’s grant investment for the coming year and recognizes BCRF investigators—many of whom will be in attendance—for their devotion to ending breast cancer and their trailblazing scientific inquiry.
Coming up on October 17, 2019, the program will begin with a symposium where an expert panel of BCRF investigators will discuss current breaking topics in breast cancer research, ranging from prevention and diagnosis to treatment and survivorship. The panel will be followed by a question and answer session with the audience.
This year’s featured speakers are Drs. Eric Winer, Dawn Hershman, Neil Iyengar, Judy Garber and Larry Norton. Dr. Winer is the 2019 recipient of the Jill Rose Award for Scientific Excellence.
