Each year, the first Tuesday of December is marked as #GivingTuesday, kicking-off a global campaign of gratitude and giving back. At BCRF we thank our devoted supporters for their contributions made not only today, but year-round, to support our mission of funding the world’s most promising breast cancer research.
Through the generous support of our community, BCRF is funding 240 investigators working tirelessly toward our common goal: to end breast cancer. With research teams that are revolutionizing how we understand and manage breast cancer in record time, their work is having a multiplier effect that is informing our knowledge of all cancers.
Many advancements have already been made toward fighting breast cancer, but there is still so much more we have left to do. Every two minutes another woman in the U.S. is told that she has breast cancer, and every 13 minutes another will die from it. Our urgency could not be greater.
BCRF is the only “A+” rated breast cancer organization in the US.
